Burton Jameson, 93, a resident of Albuquerque passed away after a short illness on March 1, 2001. He is survived by his two sons, Bob Jameson and wife, Wanda, Joe Jameson and wife, Peggy, all of Albuquerque; four granddaughters, Karen Sloan, Melissa Jameson and Carol Minella all of Albuquerque and Rebecca Jameson-Sisneros of Farmington; and four great-grandsons. Burton was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Pearl. Burton was born in Montague County, Texas December 17, 1907. After coming to New Mexico in 1950, he worked for 23 years as the office manager of Mutual of Omaha and United of Omaha. Memorial Services are scheduled at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel on Monday, March 5, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in Valley Mills, Texas.
