Obituary for Steiner

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Sunday March 04, 2001

Zelda (Karnafel) Steiner. On Valentine's Day, February 14, 2001, a bright star left this world and went to brighten Heaven a little more. Our loss is surely the Lords gain. We will always miss the bright smile, the humor and the nice word Zelda had for everyone she met. She loved people. Zelda came to New Mexico from Harvey, IL. in 1968 and worked in the slide library at UNM. She loved gardening, growing flowers, stained glass work and all forms of art. She especially loves her puppy, Persephone, a red dobie. A host of friends, both here and everywhere will miss you Zelda. Each life you touched came away a better person. God bless and keep you until we meet again. We are blessed to have known you. A Memorial will be held Saturday, March 10, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. in Corrales, NM. at #20 East Valverde Rd. contact Gene at 505-869-1728 or visit www.theplumtreeinn.com for information.
