Raymond J. Schroeder, 76, lifetime Albuquerque resident, passed away February 27, 2001. Ray was born October 6, 1924 to Raymond G. Schroeder and Eleanor Auge. He is survived by four children, Gary Schroeder and wife, Mary Ann, Karen Ortega and husband, Tom, Michael Schroeder and Steven Schroeder; four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren; and stepmother, Margaret Schroeder. He was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother, Robert. Ray proudly served his country as a marine in World War II and Korea. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., March 8, 2001 at Our lady of Fatima Church with Father Francis X. Eggert officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Animal Humane Association of NM, 615 Virginia SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Arrangements by Sunrise Society of NM.
