| Edward G. Samarra, 78, an Albuquerque resident since 1963, died Tuesday, February 27, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Maybelle M. Samarra; and daughter, Denise E. Wernig and husband, Michael, all of Albuquerque. Mr. Samarra was a US Army Veteran of WWII. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
