April Dawn Morrow, age 53, died on February 28, 2001 in Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene May, two sisters, Penny and Ruby Gene, and longtime friend, James Warnick. She is survived by her mother, Ruby"Mamaw" May of Albuquerque; two children, Mica Sleater and husband, Garth and Rick Morrow, all of Albuquerque; best friend, Mary Lynn Zellner of Albuquerque; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2001 in Chapel of Sandia, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho of New Covenant Church officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Garth Sleater, Rick Morrow, Jay Johnston, Mark West, Shannon Scott and Eddie Grier. Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE.
