Obituary for DeKeno

Richard L. DE Keno "Dick", 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1959 went home with the Lord on February 27,2001. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Martha L. De Keno; daughter, Marsha L Theobald; and son, Ronald L. and wife, Marlie L. De Keno. He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel L. De Keno. He is also survived by his mother, Lillian De Keno; two brothers, Walter and wife, Mary De Keno, Glenn and wife, Karen De Keno; sister, Ruth Fisher; aunt, Elsie and husband, Clyde Edwards. He had five grandchildren, two granddaughters; Heather Theobald, Rachel and husband, Chris Sena, three grandsons, Gene, Scott, Jason and wife, Erin De Keno. He is also survived by two two great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Samantha. He was born in Fresno, CA., retired from the army after 20 years and taught in APS for 18 years. Dick was an active member of Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Internment of his remains in the Santa Fe National Cemetery with Military Honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2001. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2001 at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Larry Moss and Reverend Don Wilson. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Rd NE, Alb. NM 87111.
