Obituary for Daube

Barbara Anne Daube passed away on February 13, 2001, at her son's home in Panama City, FL. She was 65, a child of God and a seed planter. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, retired Lt. Col. Daniel C. Daube, who remained by her side since last March when her long-time bout with cancer took a turn for the worse; son, Daniel C. Daube, Jr. and wife, Kelly of Panama City, FL; daughters, Dawn and her husband, Gene Woyak of Albuquerque, NM, Lisa and her husband, Danny Gaston of New Bern, NC and Dannie C. Daube of Albuquerque, NM; also grandchildren, Alexis, Jordyn and Richelle Woyak and Christopher, Carah and Joseph Gaston; she is also survived by her sister, Sandee Pinkston and family of Maysville, NC; and brother, William"Buck" Maynard and family of Garner, NC. The family would like to especially thank Dr. John Saiki for his long-term care and treatment throughout her illness and extend their gratitude to the many close friends and neighbors for their support and friendship. A Memorial Service and celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Rd. NE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
