Caroline Davis, 83. Mrs. Davis died quietly on September 12, 2001. She was an author and long time teacher at the Albuquerque Academy and Southwest Polytechnic Institute. She was formerly curator of the Billy the Kid Museum in Lincoln County, NM. She was a friend to many, a perpetual reader and student, a lover of animals and a wicked wit. Cremation has taken place. She is survived by her husband, John; son, Chris and granddaughter, Caitlin of Albuquerque; and daughter, Julie Carey of Denver, CO. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Salvation Army, or the charity of your choice. There will be a celebration of her life on October 21, 2001.
