Weldon H. McKinney Sr., 76, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque died Monday, September 24, 2001. He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Rosalie F. McKinney; daughters, Roberta Leeds, Betty Bowers and husband, Pete; sons, Weldon McKinney, Jr. and wife, Judith, Robert McKinney and wife, Starlene; step-children, Kim Shockley, Lori Griffin, Pam Foote, Cynthia Montoya, Tracy Griffin, Carl Griffin, James Griffin and wife, Lorna; 26 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. He was employed with Albuquerque Gravel Products for 43 years. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2001 10:00 a.m. at Aspen Funeral Alternatives, 1935 Juan Tabo NE. Cremation arrangements also by Aspen Funeral Alternatives. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks for the care of the nurses, doctors, chaplain and staff at Kaseman Hospice.
