Ninfa A. Herrera, a life long resident of Albuquerque died on September 23, 2001. She is survived by one daughter, Judy A. Tobyas; one sister, Jessie Duran; three grandchildren, Audrey and Ariel Tobyas; Brett McMahon all of Albuquerque; also by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. Her husband, Ralph C. Herrera precedes Ninfa in death. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2001 with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 1860 Griegos Rd NW. A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2001 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be James Breen, Ernie Godsey, Mario Moreno, Anthony Aragon, Doug Meagher and Mark Meagher. Honorary Pallbearers will be Freddy Aragon, Andres Moreno and Adrian Breen. Interment will be at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday September 26, 2001 in Santa Fe National Cemetery. Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave is in charge of her arrangements.
