Obituary for Cordova

Eufersin Cordova, age 81, a life long resident of Albuquerque died September 22, 2001. She was born December 12, 1919 in Albuquerque to the late Desiderro and Monica Garcia. She is survived by her husband, Pete C. Cordova of Albuquerque; three daughters, Edna and Joe Romero, Silvia and Fred Baca, Jacqueline Mora all of Albuquerque; two sons, Edwin and Anita Cordova, Art and Duane Cordova all of Albuquerque; sister, Felia and Cipano Garcia of Albuquerque; 14 grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one son, Robert Cordova in 1949; four brothers, Candido, George, Delfino, and Joe Garcia; one sister, Dolores Cordova. Eufersin was a member of the San Felipe De Neri Church, she took care of her mother for 18 years and enjoyed being around her children, she worked for Sanitary Laundry, cleaning homes and was a stay at home wife, her hobbies included sewing and crocheting. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2001 with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave SE. Mass of Resurrection will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2001 at Gate of Heaven Chapel and Cemetery on the corner of Wyoming and Paseo Del Norte with interment to follow. Pallbearers will be Pete Cordova, Jason Cordova, Mathew Cordova, Daniel Cordova, Nathan Sanchez, Fred Baca, Richard Baca, Andy Baca, Randy Baca, and Alex Mora. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is entrusted to the care of her arrangements.
