Isabel (Is) Cumerford, 59, passed away Monday, February 5, 2001, in a local hospital following a long and courageous battle with diabetes. Isabel was born in Taft, TX and has been a resident of Albuquerque since 1972. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Dale R. Cumerford of the family home; her mother, Maria Alaman; sister, Irene and husband, Marcelino Duran and sister, Angie Banda, all of Littlefield, TX. Isabel was preceded in death by her father, Manual Alaman. The family would like to recognize the ICU staff at Lovelace Medical Center for their compassion and professionalism. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 9, at 1:00 p.m., at Aspen Funeral Chapel, 1935 Juan Tabo NE.
