Marion Webb Paffett, 87, died Monday, January 22, 2001 at Cottage Hospital, Santa Barbara, CA. Mrs. Paffett was born Nov. 5, 1913 in Philadelphia, PA to Thomas and Mary Seibert Webb. She was raised and educated in Philadelphia and was an accomplished oil painter. Marion lived in Albuquerque, NM for 45 years before moving to Lompoc, CA in 1995. She was a homemaker. She was survived by her daughter, Barbara J. West of Lompoc, CA; son, David L. Paffett and wife, Bonnie of Placitas, NM; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Paffett in 1983. Services were held Friday, 1:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, with Rev. Martha Honaker officiating.
