Obituary for Johnson

John E. Johnson, 80, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2001. John was born November 11, 1920 the son of Charles A. and Hattie Selma Fuchs Johnson in Saddle River Township, New York. He had worked as a pipefitter with the Pipefitters Local #274 in New Jersey for 40 years before retiring. John served in the US Army Air Corps during WW II. John was a member of the Shrine Patrol of the Ballut Abyad Temple. He is survived by his wife, Martha Johnson of Rio Rancho; son, John Johnson and wife, Doris of Chandler, AZ; mother-in-law, Martha Klynman of Pennsylvania, and two grandchildren, Cody and Kimberly of Chandler, AZ. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 29, 2001 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with the service being conducted by the Ballut Abyad Temple. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in John's name to the Cody A. Johnson Trust, First State Bank, Acct.#001605364, 1781 Rio Rancho Blvd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
