Obituary for Stevenson

Beverly J. Stevenson, 76, a resident of Albuquerque for 53 years, died Monday, November 26, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gordon L. Stevenson of Albuquerque; sons, Brian L. Stevenson and wife, Mary Ann of Copper Center, AK and Tod W. Stevenson and wife, Cathy of Santa Fe; daughter, Brenda L. McBride and husband, Steve; granddaughter, Alyssa McBride; grandsons, Lon McBride and Ian McBride, all of El Paso, TX; sisters, LaVonne Renfro and husband, Ray of Indianola, IA, Jeanette Hanson and husband, Richard of Duluth, MN, and Kay Meyer and husband, Doug of Sedalia, MO; brothers, Mitchell Doty Jr. and wife, Betty of Columbia, TN and Donald Doty and wife, Dolly of Montrose, CO; and sister-in-law, Marlene Saari of Minneapolis, MN. Mrs. Stevenson was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sara Jean Stevenson; sisters, Ellen Clikeman and Donna Knight; and brother, Ronald Doty. Mrs. Stevenson was active in PTA and Girl Scouts. She was always ready to lend a helping hand. Mrs. Stevenson enjoyed her family, baking and gardening. Services will be held Friday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Clyde Stanfield officiating. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
