Georgiann Westover, 88, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 34 years, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2001. Georgiann was born January 26, 1913 the daughter of George and Rhea F. Rice Harbaugh in Wisconsin. She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to shop, liked to read, and she enjoyed a challenging crossword puzzle. Georgiann was always there to help her daughters, and she will be dearly missed by them both. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 2000; and her son, Richard H. in March of 2001. Georgiann is survived by two daughters, Nancy Jo McKenzie and husband, Ron of Springtown, TX and Sherry Hsiao of Rio Rancho; six grandchildren, Rachelle Beer, Robin Shaffer, Rick Sanchez, Jennifer Hsiao, Terri Embry, and William Watson; five great-grandchildren, Samantha, Ryan, Julia, Kristopher and Michael. The Service will be Friday, December 21, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, with The Rev. Walter F. Smith III officiating. Entombment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park.
