Michael Price, 62, of Elephant Butte, NM. passed away Sunday, December 16, 2001. Mike fought a long and courageous battle with liver cancer. Mike was a man who followed his heart and was one of the original editors of Rolling Stone Magazine. From there he followed his love of horses to start his trail guide service in Moab, Utah, and Aspen, Colorado. He eventually settled into ranch life in Carbondale, Colorado, until his illness forced him to move closer to his brother and best friend, John Price. His family and friends throughout New Mexico and Colorado will dearly miss him. Mike is survived by his sister, Mary Sims of Mobile, Alabama; sister-in-law, Susan Price of Placitas, New Mexico, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. on Thursday, December 20, 2001 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
