Obituary for Mccarty

Dudley McCarty, 44, a resident of Albuquerque for 44 years, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior after a heart attack Sunday, December 16, 2001. He is survived by his father, David W. McCarty; Ruth Des Jardins, both of Albuquerque; brother, Jeffrey McCarty and wife, Pat and their two children, Joshua and Shari, all of Portales; sister, Michelle Lofton and her two children, Danette of Ft. Worth, TX and Melissa of Albuquerque; aunt, Luana Hopkins of Vinita, OK; uncle, Jasper N. McCarty and wife, Joan of Rio Rancho; and many cousins and friends. Mr. McCarty was preceded in death by his mother, Marlene Lancaster. He graduated from Del Norte High School in 1975. Mr. McCarty attended ENMU in Portales. He graduated from UNM, Anderson School of Business in 1988. He worked at Mac's Steak in the Rough for 20 years, managing the San Mateo unit for 10 of those years. Mr. McCarty currently worked with Southwest Distribution in the Gallup and Grants region. We will all remember the laughter and joy he brought to our lives. Services will be held Thursday, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE with Pastor David Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednesday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The family is very grateful for the efforts, kindness and love shown to them by the UNMH, ICU doctors and staff.
