James Harold Jones, 79, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past twelve years, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2003. James was born June 13, 1923 the son of William and Mabel Kelbaugh Jones in Baltimore, Maryland. He had been a Quality Control Engineer in Research and Development with the Sandia National Labs before he retired. James was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia in 1991. He is survived by his children, Jo Haas and husband Glen of Plano, TX, Pam Strickler and husband Richard of Santa Fe, NM, and James Jones, Jr. of Albuquerque; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
