Joe Alonzo Ulibarri, 68, of The Woodlands, TX passed away March 8, 2003. Joe was born January 19, 1935 in Terreros, NM to Luciano and Adela Ulibarri. He proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1954-1960. Joe worked as a Civil Servant Employee, as a Communications Supervisor for 28 years, serving in California and Virginia before retiring to The Woodlands, TX in 1988. Also he was known as an avid golfer. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Luciano and Adela Ulibarri; brothers, Leroy and Freddie; sisters, Anna Marie and Esther. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Connie Ulibarri; daughter, Marian Rennels; grandchildren, Darren and Desiree Rennels of Sacramento, CA; sister, Fiddie Padilla and her husband, Tito of Chimayo, New Mexico. Nephews and nieces, Harold, Dennis, Edmund, Angela, and LuAnn; uncle, Florentino Ulibarri; brothers-in-law, Jack and Robert Craig. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, 1515 Holcombe, Houston, TX 77004.
