Freda Geneva Dunn Merrell 11-9-28 to 2-14-03. As beautiful as the rise and set of the sun so too was her life. She touched all that knew her with her kindness, patience and love. GOD called another of his sparks to Heaven to keep His eternal flame glowing. Although we all will miss this beautiful loving caregiver, we know she has gone on to continue honoring us with memories of all she was and all she gave. All who knew her were truly blessed. The sun has set on the life of our beloved here on Earth but we will cherish her smile and laughter for always. Rest easy and sweet be your rest. We all loved you dearly but GOD loved you best. Freda leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 56 years William Merrell, Albuquerque; daughter, Joyce (Merrell) Lovato, Grants; son, Robert Merrell (Jaye), Hudson, FL and predeceased by son, Tex Merrell Sr. and his wife Willie,Largo, FL.; 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and many other family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2003, 6:00 p.m., at 1420 Edith Blvd. NE., The Santa Barbara Apartments. Freda, You are gone and yet you're not, You will always be in our heart. Everyone you met will miss you so, We look forward to seeing you when we go. You will be missed this we know, In you being gone we learned to grow. You are so good and now you are gone, You are not here because our Lord has won. Everyone here has a broken heart, But we will love you even when apart. Freda when you see our Lord up above, Give him a hug and from all of us our love.
