Manuel Sigala Griego Jr., age 73, and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2003. He was preceded in death by his wife Consuelo A. Griego in October of 2002. Manuel is survived by two daughters, Elva LaJeunesse and husband, Isidro, and Esmeralda Lopez; brother, Edward Griego; sisters, Sally Romero, Tootsi Chavez, and Emily Griego; nine grandchildren, Micheal, Sid Jr., Javier, Albert, Alexander, Charles, Nicholas, Rebecca, and Emily; ten great-grandchildren; other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal S W. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2003. Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2003, with burial following at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers will be Sid Jr., Javier, Alexander, Charles, Nicholas, and Albert. Honorary Pallbearers will be Micheal and Billy. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW.
