Stephen J. Stalter, 92, died on Thursday, February 6, 2003. He is survived by his daughters, Marlyn Newby and Myrna Breeden; and granddaughter, Sasha Kaster. Stephen served in the US Navy for 35 years which included WW II and Korea. He was a published author and his favorite restaurant was Furrs. Rosary will be recited Monday, February 10, 2003, 5:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Deacon Bob Lewis reciting. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2003, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Chaplain Lemuel Boyles officiating.
