John D.McDevitt, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2003, at the age of 68. John was born in Maple Shade, NJ on September 22, 1934. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elaine McDevitt; sons, Daniel and wife, Christine of Albuquerque, Walter and wife, Debra of Clovis, NM, Ronald and wife, Debbie of Bosque Farms, NM and daughter, Karenann and husband, Dan Buehler of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Aaron, Ryan, Kristin, Sean, Lauren, Shannon, Tina and Angela, Kimberly, Jennifer, Adam, Brandon, Kimiko, Ramona, Christina, Kelly; and great-granddaughter, Angelique. He is also survived by a sister, Marie Earle of Maple Shade, NJ; brothers, Charles of Camden, NJ, and Dick of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Risen Savior Catholic Community 7701 Wyoming Blvd NE. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 13, 2003, 10:00 a.m. at Risen Savior Catholic Community. The family wishes to express it's sincere gratitude to Quality Continuum Hospice for their professional and loving care during this difficult time.
