Opal Florence Eden, age 98, a resident of Albuquerque, died February 8, 2003. Survivors include sons, Carl Eden of Albuquerque, NM, Richard Eden of Tillamook, OR, Walter Eden of Albuquerque, NM, Larry Eden of Springfield, MO; sisters, Peternell Clary of Troy, KS, Mabel Wells of Coffeeville, KS, Marion Nelson of Coffeeville, KS; brother, Ralph Gardner of Troy, KS; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Opal was preceded in death by her husband, H. E. Eden; and son, Charlie Eden. Viewing and Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors 3113 Carlisle Blvd NE. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 12, 2003 in the chapel of Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors with Rev. Linda Dyer officiating. Interment will follow in Sandia Memory Gardens.
