Obituary for Pangle

Norah Harriett Way Pangle, 92, a resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, February 7, 2003. Norah was born August 27, 1910, in London, England. She is survived by her son, Chris; sister, Violet Luca; brother-in-law, Weldon Pangle; nieces, Charlotte Milligan, Marsha Luca and Ena Way; and special friends, Mary Benavidez, Peggy Little, Mary Lomax and Ethel Halsey. Her father, Frederick and six brothers were killed in the Battle of Mondz, France. Her mother, Maria Currier died December 25, 1961. Norah married Tommy Pangle November 8, 1943, in England. Norah was employed by White & Kirk and worked as a hostess for Grandy's. She was a collector for MDA for many years and a supporter of Noon Day Ministry. She was a life member of Tom Young's and Daughters of the British Empire Oxford Chapter. Services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Basil Nellos, Art Avritt, Ronnie Morgan and Michael Benavidez and Bob Little, Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Cline, Royce Little and Weldon Pangle. Friends may visit Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, Tuesday from 10:30 to service time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Noonday Ministry, P.O. Box 25451, 87125.
