Obituary for Aragon

Lorraine Aragon affectionately known as"Red" passed away at home while surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at the age of 64. She was born March 10, 1938 in Cabezon, NM to Barney and Irene Romero. She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved sons, Gilbert Urban and Patrick Mathews. She is survived by her children, LaVonne Urban of Norfolk, VA, Russell Urban of Albuquerque, NM, Thomas Urban of Denver, CO, Charmaine Mathews of Denver, CO, and Christina Aragon of Denver, CO. She is also survived by brothers, John Romero of Mountainair, NM, Joe Romero of Tejique, NM, and Bernabe Romero of Montrose, CO; sisters, Theresa Martinez of Albuquerque, NM, and Rosie Chavez of Salt Lake City, UT; grandchildren, Lee, Max, Michelle, Marcus, Jeweliana, Lorraine and Rocky; and great-grandson, Jarren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Aragon will be held on Saturday at San Jose de los Duranes Mission where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A Rosary for Mrs. Aragon will be recited on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at San Jose de los Duranes Mission. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
