Obituary for Jacquez

Timoteo Jacquez, age 90, a lifelong resident of Gallina and presently of Albuquerque, passed away early Monday morning in the family home in Albuquerque. Timoteo was retired after many years of employment with Duke City Lumber Company and Santa Fe National Forest Service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elvira Jacquez; his parents, Juan Ignacio and Francisquita Jacquez; two brothers, Max and Antonio Jacquez; three sisters, Ramona Jacquez, Audelia Duran and Pablita Sanchez. He is survived by two sons, Vidal Jacquez and wife. Margaret of San Jose, California, Gilbert Jacquez and wife. Leora of Albuquerque; three daughters, Dolores Jacquez and husband. Ralph Leyba, Leora Lucero and husband, Chris of Albuquerque and Cathy Serrano and husband, Antonio of Gallina; one brother, Eliseo Jacquez and wife, Eufemia of Gallina; two sisters, Bertha Arellano and husband, Jake of Gallina and Lucy Casaus of Cuba; ten grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Edwin Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona Rd. SW. and on Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Gallina, New Mexico. Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Gallina, with time and date of Mass is pending. Interment will follow at the Gallina Cemetery and serving as Pallbearers will be Anthony, Edward, Andrew and David Leyba, Edwin Serrano and James Jacquez.
