Obituary for Jaramillo

Maria Louisa Jaramillo, age 78, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord our Savior, Friday, January 24, 2003, while surrounded by her loving family. Maria was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and was a resident of Bernalillo; she was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Maria is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Felix G. Jaramillo of the family home; her wonderful children, Maria Elena Jaramillo and Myron Siddell, Joe Chavez and Rosemary Adkins, and Lupe Corette; her precious grandchildren, Monica Valdez and husband, Jude, Liz, Martin, Christina, and Tatiana Jaramillo, Isiah Siddell, Francisca, and Ian Weinreich, Joseph, Zachary, Ian, and Daniella; great-grandchildren, Mariah and Jude Aaron Valdez. Also surviving are three sisters, Concha Flores and husband, Raul, Bertha Gonzales and husband, David, and Margarita Jimenez; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Maria will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those who knew her and loved her. A rosary will be recited Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Lionel Romero, Martin Jaramillo, Joseph Chavez, Lorenzo Ramirez, Albert Torres, and Raul Flores.
