Obituary for Scivier

William Scivier, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, died Thursday, January 16, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Amelia Scivier of Albuquerque; children, Sheridan Fuss and wife, Sondra, Joyce Forney and husband, Larry and Ronald Fuss and wife, Patricia, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Thomas Munsey and wife, Christine, David Fuss and wife, Robin, Lisa Fuss, Brenda Detmer and husband, Todd, Alan Fuss and wife, Elizabeth and Scott Forney; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Connor and Hunter; brother, Robert Scivier and wife, Kath; and sister, Eve Howard-Jones, all of England. Mr. Scivier was born in England. He served with the Royal Air Force before moving to Albuquerque. Mr. Scivier worked with Safeway Stores as a manager for 30 years. After retiring, he did volunteer work with Lovelace Hospital for 20 years. Services were held Saturday, January 18, 2003, at 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, with Pastor C. B. Blankenship officiating. Interment followed at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers were his grandchildren, Alan Fuss, Lisa Fuss, Brenda Detmer, David Fuss, Scott Forney, and Tom Munsey. French Mortuary 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE 823-9400
