Mrs. Maria Rosa Moya (Aunt Rose) a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully in her home on January 17, 2003. Mrs. Moya is survived by her three sons, Rudy Jaramillo and wife Isabel, Jose Jaramillo, and Abel Jaramillo and wife Irene; two daughters, Leonilla Corral and husband David, and Mary Ann Cook and husband Cliff; one brother, Eugenio Chavez and wife Merlinda; sister in law, Andrea Chavez; half-sister, Josie Abeyta; daughter-in-law, Mia Jaramillo; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Moya is preceded in death by her loving husband Patricio Moya, her brother Crecencio Chavez and her sister Prudencia Chavez. A visitation for Mrs. Moya will be Tuesday evening from 6:30pm until 7:00pm at Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm by Doris Zamora. Final visitation will be Wednesday morning from 9:30am until 10:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00am by Father Manuel Viera. Interment will follow at Santa Clara Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Tapia II, Benjamin Cruz, Carlos Cruz, Francisco Chavez, Rey Chavez, and Tacho Zamora. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Jaramillo, Avrian Jaramillo, Rubel Jaramillo and Gene Chavez. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 OId Coors Rd SW, in charge of arrangements, 243- 7861.
