Obituary for Davis

Georgia Armstrong Davis passed away January 12, 2003 after a long illness. She was born May 14, 1931 in Clinton, OK to Albert and Jewel Armstrong. She attended school and spent most of her life in Clinton, OK. After marriage to James H. Davis, she resided in Albuquerque and was very successful in real estate sales for 20 years. She moved to Tucson in 1997 where she enjoyed the remainder of her life enjoying her family, especially her grandchildren that she so dearly loved. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, John Albert Armstrong. She is survived by her husband, James H.; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Donny Cathey; four grandsons, Matt, Troy, Andy and Geordy; one granddaughter, Carly; and brother, Robert Crain Armstrong of Sherman, TX. Also many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Her spirit and humor carries on without her. She will be missed by all who knew her. Memorial Service 4:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2003 at Bring's Broadway Chapel, 6910 E. Broadway. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Georgia's name be made to the AZ Spinal Cord Injury Assn, 901 E. Willetta Suite 2306, Phoenix, AZ, 85006.
