Yvonne S."Von" Hooker, 81, died at her family's home in Albuquerque on Saturday, January 11, 2003. Mrs. Hooker was born September 1, 1921 in Blanchard, Oklahoma, and was a longtime resident of Alamogordo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas F. Hooker in 1992; a daughter, Denise Odette Hooker in 1965; and her brother, Howard Bryant"Bud" Sharp in 1998. Survivors include two sons, Thomas F. Hooker Jr. and his wife, Dea of Albuquerque, and Tracy B. Hooker and his wife, June of Las Cruces; three grandchildren, Dawn A. Hooker of Las Vegas, Nevada, Bryan E. Hooker and his wife, Melody of Alexandria, Virginia, and Dyann R. Weingardt and her husband, Kirk of Albuquerque; and two great-grandchildren, Allyson and Elyse Weingardt of Albuquerque. She will be greatly missed. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, January 18, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 1100 Michigan Avenue, Alamogordo, with the Rev. Charles A.
