Obituary for Baca

Josephine S. Baca, age 86, and an Albuquerque resident died January 8, 2003. Survivors include her husband Patricio Baca; daughter, Patricia Hendren and husband, Philip of Albuquerque; son, Deacon Rudolph F. Baca and wife, Juanita of Albuquerque; brothers, John J. Sanchez of MN and Eduard Sanchez of Santa Fe; nine grandchildren; great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Josephine was a member of San Ignacio and St. Therese Little Flower Churchs; she also worked for Bernalillo County as a Probate Court Clerk until the mid 1970's. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2003 in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 11, 2003 at St. Therese Little Flower Church 300 Mildred Ave. NW with Fr. Jim Suntum, Celebrant. Serving, as Pallbearers will be Rodolfo Baca, Carlos Baca, Joaquin Baca, Javier Baca, Rudolph Patrick Baca and Chris Hendren. Honorary Pallbearers will be Maria Carmen Vahtel, Monica Rawson, and Philip P. Hendren II. Strong-Thorne Mortuary is entrusted to the care of Josephine.
