Obituary for Trujillo

Eliza Anaya Trujillo, 93, died Saturday, January 4, 2003. She was born in Puerto de Luna, NM, and resided most of her life in Albuquerque. The last few years she had lived with her daughter, Alice in Sapello, NM. She is survived by her husband, Antonio Trujillo of Albuquerque; sons, Orlanda Anaya and wife, Olga of Borger, TX and William Anaya and wife, Ricca of Vienna, VA; daughters, Emma Bustamante of Albuquerque, Angelina Krehbiel and husband, Dean of Halstead, KS, Alice Montoya and husband, Zenon of Sapello, NM, Carolina Grandestaff and husband, Robert of Scottsdale, AZ; brothers, Abe Padilla and Nick Padilla, both of Albuquerque; sister, Terry Cruz of Santa Fe, NM; 27 grandchildren; and numerous great-and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Willie Anaya in 1988, daughter, Maria Moore; brothers, Zeke Padilla, Henry Padilla; sisters, Sophie Page, Stella Campos, and Eloisa Riviera. Mrs. Trujillo was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of Queen of Heaven Church and Our Lady of the Roses Society. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, January 8, 2003 7:00 p.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont St. NE, with Deacon Ruben Barela reciting. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 9, 2003, 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Wednesday, January 8, 2003, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Arrangements by French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
