Mary"Fran" Merritt, 80, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away December 31, 2002. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Ray Merritt; sisters, Catherine Daucher of Winter Springs, FL and Myrtle Shryock of Jemez Springs, NM; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James D. McNeill, of Sanford, FL, and Lewis R. McNeill, of Red Springs, NC. Fran was a volunteer for 27 years for Family Support at Kirtland Air Force Base. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Friday, January 3, 2003, 3:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo NE, 265-5959.
