Obituary for Thomas

James P. Thomas, 85, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2003. He was born in Indiana to Ross and Bertha Thomas. The family moved to Pagosa Springs, CO in 1920, then to Albuquerque in 1927. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty; his sons, Kenny and Ross; his daughters, Patty and Ann; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His son, Wayla, preceded him in death. "Mr. T" worked at Albuquerque National Bank for 49 years. He ran the UNM football stadium sellers for 60 years. He served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. Daddy was a "gentle" man who helped many people in his life. His kindness, compassion and positive outlook on life will live on in all of us. He will be missed greatly by all who were lucky enough to know him. A private graveside service is planned. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
