A Memorial Service for Capt. Laurel Salton Clark, USN, will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2003, 10:00 a.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 3701 Carlisle NE. Capt. Clark was a member of the crew of Space Shuttle Columbia, all of whom were killed on reentry on February 1, 2003. Laurel is survived locally by her father, Robert Salton and his wife, Harriet; brother, Jon Salton; as well as her stepbrothers, Matthew and Nathaniel Brown. Memorial Donations in Capt. Clark's name may be made to the Rock Art Foundation or the World Wildlife Federation.
