Robert (Bob) Stephens went to be with his Lord on February 21, 2003. He was born on April 1, 1923, in Indiana, Pennsylvania. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gerry Stephens; children, Robert Stephens and wife, Mary of Austin, TX, Karen and husband, Laurance Linford of Gallup, NM, Pamela and husband, Roy Johnson of Santa Fe, NM; his grandchildren, Scott Stephens, Greg Stephens, Justin Linford, Micah Linford, Bryce Johnson and Carley Johnson; his brothers, Glenn, Bill and Jack; and his sisters, Helen and June; and his faithful companion, Boots. He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty. Mr. Stephens retired as Assistant Regional Director of the US Fish and Wildlife Service in 1982. Bob will be remembered as a patient man who was a good listener and very considerate of the needs of others. A Memorial service will be held at St. Stephens United Methodist Church, 4601 Juan Tabo Blvd. NE, on Tuesday, February 25, 2003, at 2:00 P.M.
