Josephine R."Jo" Hodgson, a resident of Albuquerque since 1995, died February 4, 2003 at Mission Manor Health Care Center in Albuquerque. Jo was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jesse, and granddaughter, Elizabeth Stuart-Barajas. She is survived by her brother, Richard Van Vven; son, Thom J. Hodgson and wife, Grace of Raleigh, North Carolina; daughter, Jane Stuart and husband, Bob of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Casey Hodgson and wife, Lara, Cal Hodgson and wife, amy, Laura Stuart, Anne Marble and husband, Patrick, Angie Stuart and great-grandchildren, Andrew and Caleb Hodgson, Tyler and Kelsea Marble and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Services for Jo will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2003 at St. Chad's Episcopal Church, 7171 Tennyson NE, Albuquerque, NM 87122. A reception at the church will follow. Interment will be in Stuart, Florida. In lieu of flowers, friends may make a memorial contribution to a charity of their choice. The family wishes to express its deep gratitude to the CNA's, Restorative Aides, Nurses, Sy Sekakuku and Nanette Sanchez of Mission Manor for their kindness and care of Jo.
