M.G."Mac" Burgess, 90, a resident of Albuquerque since 1943, died Monday, March 3, 2003. He is survived by his granddaughters, Shanon Goldberg and husband, Mitch of Dallas, TX and Nisa Fazio and husband, John of Datil, NM; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Evelyn Clark of Miami, Fl and Geneva Bond of Boston, GA. Mr. Burgess was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Burgess; and son, Rodney Burgess. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 953 since 1946, and was a lifetime Mason. Services will be held Saturday, 10:30 a.m., at the Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
