You two were so much of the beautiful things in our lives. The pain we feel from the yearning of needing you pierces our hearts. You were the apple in our eyes, the reason for our smile.¯We have always known you are our angels, blessings in disguise. We thank you for the wonderful care you guys took of us. Life was so much sweeter when you were around. Dad, Erik, your voices linger in our ears like whispers in the wind. The sunshine feels like your warm, comforting embrace. There is no doubt the pride and love you two possessed. Dad, you were so fearless and content. Erik, you were so true, so tender and so spirited. Our only comfort comes from knowing you Dad took Erik's hand and walked right into the open arms of Sweet Jesus. We know and will live our lives whole-heartedly to make you proud. Our memories are precious and we are so very grateful no one, no matter how hard they try, can ever steal those away. We just thank you for being the two most beautiful, genuine men ever known to the earth. It's a shame everyone doesn't have an opportunity to have a soulmate, husband, daddy, granddad, son, brother, and friend like the two of you. We really love you and will really miss you. Love...Us. Services will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2003, at 10:00 a.m., at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris NE, with Pastor David Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
