Benjamin Johnson, 74, a resident of Albuquerque, loving husband, father and grandfather, died Monday, March 17, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nellie Johnson of Albuquerque; son, Michael Johnson Sr. and wife, Betty of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Kathy Sisneros and husband, Matt Chavez, Sherise Sisneros and husband, Ronald Garcia and Michael Johnson, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Monique, Victoria, Dominick and Desiree; brother, Bud Johnson and wife, Mavis of Dallas, TX; and sister, Emmalulia Reed of Wichita, KS. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his son, Vincent Rubio; and mother, Edith Johnson. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with Deacon Bob Lewis officiating. Pallbearers will be Ben Chavez, Bill Chestnut, Cosme Olguin, Marty Olguin, Dominick Sisneros and Paul Terrazas.
