Michael (Vernon) Lee Ellison, 1934-2003. Mike Ellison, a resident of Bosque Farms, was born on May 15, 1934 and he died on March 17, 2003 at 4:00 a.m. He was raised by his mother and father, Pat and Al Ellison, in California. At the age of 17, he joined the Navy to fight for our country. In the year 1965, he married the love of his life, Donna Sue Eastman and together they raised seven children; six daughters and one son, Ronda, Brenda, Michelle, Wendy, Mike, Dana, and Tina. They have 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving husband, wonderful father, and an amazing golfer. His sense of humor and quick wit always brought laughter and joy to his family and anyone who met him. He will be deeply missed. Mr. Ellison will be cremated at Direct Funeral Services. Memorial Services will be held in his honor at the Ellison home on March 19, 2003 at 2:00 p.m.,"The pains of death surrounded me, and the pangs of Sheol laid hold of me; I found trouble and sorrow. Then I called upon the name of the Lord: 'O Lord, I implore You, deliver my soul!" Psalm 116:3 and 4.
