Obituary for Zamora

Ruth Zamora, 58, a resident of Los Chavez, passed away on Monday March 17, 2003. She was a member of San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas, serving as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America in Belen. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Eulalia Barela; and by her brother, George Barela. She is survived by her loving husband, Nestor Zamora of Los Chavez; her sons, Kenneth Zamora of Belen, Karey Zamora and his wife, Vanessa of Los Lunas, and Kurt Zamora of Los Chavez; her sisters, Clorinda Romero and her husband, Pete of Estancia, Dora Sena and her husband, Arthur of Los Lunas, Eve Waggerman of California, and Emily Lenconi of California; her brothers, Ernest Barela and his wife, Frances of Albuquerque, Charlie Barela of Albuquerque, and Eddie Barela of Peralta; her grandchildren, Gabriel, Phillip, Isabella, Suzannah, and Fabian Zamora; and by her special nieces, Natalie Trujillo and Marie Chavez. Visitation for Mrs. Zamora will begin at 6:30 PM Wednesday March 19th at San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Deacon John O'Hare. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. also at San Clemente. Burial is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clarence, Dominic, Shawn, and Johnny Romero, Rick Trujillo Sr., and Rick Trujillo Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be her god daughters Natalie Trujillo, Linda Garcia, Yolanda Chavez, and Juanita Martinez.
