Obituary for Dominguez

Eric Lee Dominguez, 35, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past eight years, and before that had lived in Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2003. Eric was born March 29, 1967 the son of Andrew and Alice Gallegos Dominguez in Espanola, New Mexico. Eric was a mechanical designer and was self employed. He served in the US Marine Corps. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, was a passionate musician, an accomplished drummer, a bike rider, very athletic, coached little league, was a drum teacher, and he loved his family very much. Eric is survived by his wife Priscilla of the family home; four children, Andrew, Adrian, Selena, and Santana, all of Rio Rancho; his parents, Andrew and Alice of Espanola and Rio Rancho; grandmother, Cleo Dominguez of California; one brother, Darryl Dominguez and fiance Rosemary Gutierrez of Albuquerque; mother and father-in-law, Enrique and Julia Cordova; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Cordova-Rael, Lori Sedillo, Linda Cordova-Borunda; brothers-in-law, Dennis¯Cordova, Ray Sedillo, Edward Cordova, Steven Cordova, and Ray Cordova;¯Godmother and aunt, Tillie Maestas, Aunts, Marcie Ortiz, Flora Martinez, and Betty Ortiz; uncles, Mike Garcia, Sonny Garcia, Donald Gallegos, and Leandro Dominguez; he will be greatly missed by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Eric was preceded in death by one aunt, Rosina Quintana in February 2003. The Visitation for Eric will be held this evening, Thursday, March 27, 2003 from 7:00 p.m. to¯8:00 p.m. with the Rosary being recited at 7:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic¯Church. The¯Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 28, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas¯Aquinas Catholic¯Church with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Albuquerque. Pallbearers will be Michael Gallegos, Dennis Cordova, Ray Sedillo, Rick Langenhuizen, Carlos Padilla, Jeff Maestas, Samuel Maestas, and Larry Maestas, with Honorary Pallbearer, Lorenzo Gurule.
