Carolyn R. Salazar, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dennis Salazar of Albuquerque; brother-in-law, Ernest Salazar; sisters-in-law, Agnes Trujillo and Tillie Salazar; nephews, Jim Salazar, Richard Salazar, Lawrence Salazar, Timothy Salazar, and David Trujillo; nieces, Alicia Meyer, Exilda Martinez, Rosamond Blevins, Debbie Kissell and Teresa Bondelli; cousin, Margaret Martinez; and special friend, Rosie Armijo. She was preceded in death by her father, Celestino Romero; mother, Genevieve Durand; and stepfather, Dick Durand. Mrs. Salazar retired from the IRS after 30 years of loyal service. Rosary will be recited Sunday, March 30, 2003; 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. NE.
