Aurora Contreras, 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1968, passed away on March 31, 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Catalina Schmidt and husband, Don of Bosque Farms, NM; brother, Luvin Contreras and wife, Loretta of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Nathan Schmidt, Santos Contreras, Jasmine Contreras, Sonya Schmidt and Eric Schmidt; sisters, Amalia Flores, Clara Zamora and husband, Pedro, Tina Torrez and husband, Eloy and Priscilla Rael and husband, Henry. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Aurora was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be deeply missed. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Rosary and memorial will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel with Henry Rael, reciting. Burial will take place on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
