Cipriana P. Griego, age 89, passed away on April 3, 2003. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan G. Griego and daughter, Lucia Griego. Mrs. Griego is survived by her sons, Sisto Griego and wife, Consie, Domicindo Griego and fiancÈe, Sylvia, Johnny Griego and wife, Jeanette; daughters, Mary Alice, Ida and husband, Rufino Martinez, Adelina and husband, Norm Brown, Elizabeth and husband, Manuel Sanchez, and Ramona and husband, Richard Gallegos; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; and family members, Miguel Peralta, Josie Contreras and Carmen Baca. A Rosary for Mrs. Griego will be recited on Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral Services for Mrs. Griego will be held on Monday at Sacred Heart Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the San Jose Cemetery in Contreras, NM. Pallbearers will be Johnnie Griego, Jim Griego, Rodney Sanchez, Cindo Griego, Ricky Gallegos and Jonathan Griego. Honorary pallbearer will be Jason Garcia who is currently serving in the Persian Gulf. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
