Sidney H. Welsh, age 89, went home to join Lillian, his beloved wife of sixty-one years, March 28, 2003. He was born, lived, and worked in Massachusetts for 55 years, lived in Florida for 23 years, and resided in New Mexico for 10 years. He is survived by his daughter Marilyn Saueressig and husband, Joe, of Placitas, NM; three sons, Douglas Welsh of Pennsylvania, Leonard Welsh and wife, Sunny, of Massachusetts, and David Welsh and wife, Norm, of New Hampshire; daughter-in-law, Sarah Welsh of Massachusetts; two sisters, Florence Scionti of Florida, and Anna Grace Wadon of Massachusetts; brother, Eugene Welsh of Florida; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Private services will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, consider donations to the Animal Humane Association and Alzheimer's Association.
